balooterpalooza, if you don´t believe the big bang was the beggining of the Universe in it´s current state, what do you think happened? You believe God done it, right? But you must still believe there was a singularity that expanded and became the Universe as we know it, ergo; you believe the big bang happened, if you want to say “God did it” then go ahead, but that doesn´t mean the big bang never happened.
Anyway, how else would you explain Redshift?
