People cant comprehend their own state of being so they look “outhere” hoping theyll find something.

I don’t know but i swear I once seen a UFO. It wasn’t one of those weird circle shaped saucer things but a strange flying something with lights. I was driving down a country road at night and i got lost and i noticed this aircraft low in the sky travelling beside me. I could just see two white lights. So finally i stopped in the middle of the road and the sec i stoped the lights turned red and flew over my car sideways. I had my camera and tried to take a pic but it didnt turn out.

i think that most people are just courious about if something else is out there or not. are we alone? no one knows for sure. it couriousity

well, some believe they will have great benefits to each us about technology.

Others jsut want to know. Or want to prove that they’re right when they say there are aliens without real proof. Especially Area 51 fanatics.

There’s a myriad of reasons out there besides these, of course.

I think cosmic loneliness and also curiousity. I do think that there is other life forms out their because could we honestly be the only life forms in the entire universe?

because one man had a dream, and in the thought of finding what he was looking for his dream was lost … there are lots of people wondering the same question, some will have some thing diffrent to say

It’s a deep desire inside every human being to have a relation with or to know something that is greater than him. This ability to search and to find this higher being, outside this three-dimensional earth, was given into the brain of mankind by our creator. Post-modern mankind thinks that science has shown there is no God – so the vacuum left by this dis-belief is looking for a replacement: Life outside our Earth. NASA spends billions of dollars to look for life on Mars.
Mankind can not find on Mars, and not on exoplanets what they have lost in their brains and their hearts.

I have always wondered if there was ET life out in the vast universe.

Part of it is just plain curiosity. Could we possibly be the ONLY life forms out of all the bazillions of stars, planets, moons, etc out there? It just seems pretty impossible that we’re the only ones.

I’m no scientist and certainly have never seen a UFO or any evidence for myself so I’m one who just has a curiosity about it of my own.

I think that finding out there is other life out there would be so incredibly interesting. How do these living beings survive? Could we survive in their atmosphere and them in ours?
Could we learn any survival, medical, scientific, etc techniques from them? Or could we be more advanced than them?

An example of why this peaks my curiosity is….
About a month ago, I was watching a show on Discovery or one of those types of channels about extreme deep see life. Some of the straaangest and wildest looking creatures were found. It was so amazing!! I find that type of thing very interesting and just wanted them to show more so I could see what other strange creatures they might come across.

The same goes for ET life out there. I would want to see them and learn about the amazing things that are so very very different from our world and how we know it.

I hope that kind of gives you an idea of my perspective of things to answer some of your question. :)

Humanity over the long term might be safest in an empty universe, but I find the idea very depressing. The universe will seem less bleak if we know there are others we share it with.

Also, being able to study intelligent beings that are not human would be fascinating in a number of ways.

If we find extraterrestrial life forms, we can learn a lot from them.

People always think that UFO’s are coming to kill us all…for all you know UFO’s can land here on Earth and teach humans about life and where they came from. There’s many ancient tablets that speak of how aliens would come and help humans.

It doesn’t always have to be a negative output.
But i think if UFO’s ever did show themselves a lot of religious people would be asking questions.

I think the real question is why would you not want to know if aliens exist? For me the reason I want to know are many fold. I’m curious to see how life evolved on other worlds, what other conditions life has grown accustomed to and thrived in. I want to know how other cultures and societies think, act, behave. I’m interested in what technologies they’ve developed, how they’ve solved their problems throughout their history, what they’ve learned of science. It would make life much more interesting to know that we aren’t the only ones. I’m very confident we’re not alone, but I’m just saying, how sad and how lonely would that be if we end up being the only ones? I think that there’s a lot we could share and learn with another intelligent species.
