"The Black Hole" 1979 by Walt Disney Films This was regarded as the last big special effect production to be made under the "old studio system." All of the elaborate special effects were created within the Disney studio and not farmed out to outside special effects companies. It stars Maximilian Schell, Robert Forster, Joseph Bottoms, Yvette Mimieux, Anthony Perkins, and Ernest Borgnine. The voices of the main robot characters in the film are provided by Roddy McDowall and Slim Pickens. The plot was inspired by Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, filmed by Disney in 1954. Alan Dean Foster novelized the screenplay. The film was nominated for cinematography and visual effects Academy Awards and was notable for being the first Disney film not to have a universal rating, due to mild language and scenes of human death never seen in a Disney production before. This film led the company towards experimenting with more adult-oriented films, which would eventually lead to the creation of its Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood Pictures arms to handle films considered too mature in nature to carry the Walt Disney label.

www.timeline2012.net Part 3 This video includes: Ivan/Evon Stein providing a detailed understanding of the galactic equator; when and how Earth passes the galactic equator; what kind of energies exist there; what are the possible causes to Earth and the solar system; and how the galactic equator may be responsible for the polar shift, reversal of Earths rotation, and the coming ice age. This video includes scientific examples of how energy is released on the galactic equator, along with deep space photos from the Hubble telescope of galaxies and visual energy being released by a galaxy. Ivan demonstrates the path that Earth takes around the Milky Way galaxy and the frequency of passing the galactic equator.

From the acclaimed Science Screen Report DVD series, provided to schools nationwide free of charge since 1970. Between Mars and Jupiter is the asteroid belt. Every so often, asteroids collide and tumble towards the Sun. If they pass Mars, they can be drawn towards Earth, sometimes colliding. Sixty-five million years ago an asteroid impact may have been the cause of the climate change that killed the dinosaurs. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. It is a ball of gas with no solid surface. Regal Jupiter is orbited by more than 60 moons of which four are large enough to be small planets

www.myspace.com Since the 1970s, a number of unusual organisms have been discovered in environments that are hostile to other living things. These organisms, called extremophiles because of their ability to survive at the extremes of typically hospitable conditions, thrive where other life would perish. For example, microbial life has been found deep underground in tiny spaces within rocks, in the frozen environment of Antarctica, in the searing hot waters of deep sea vents and hot springs ...
