From www.looledo.com This cool Mars Rover was built out of nothing but a milk container, cereal box, some masking or foil tape and straws! All you need is your imagination and some simple household supplies! This LooLeDo.com video will show you how to make this fun project in minutes! Always use your imagination and be creative when building this project or any others. It’s your creation, so be inventive when looking for building supplies — you just may be surprised! When building your project, experiment with new and different ways of putting it together. The most important thing is to have fun! LooLeDo.com is a project-based website for parents, teachers, and educators. LooLedo makes available the ability to share and upload your own photo and video craft projects, and allows you to view what others have shared. LooLeDo.com is a place for people with an interest in kids’ crafts to connect with one another, share craft ideas and projects, create interest groups, and have fun! We encourage you to explore LooLeDo.com, where you’ll find step-by-step instructions for dozens of easy projects your kids can build using materials they can find around the house or in the classroom. Each project has a video tutorial, showing in detail how to build these simple projects.

Another video, this time, with some home made optics experiment… I believe that gravity works as a piramid. At center, space is shorter. Outside, space is larger. The light speed depends from the distance between the points in my graphics. All was made with blender. A pyramid Prisma, a lighter and a plastic plate. On the graphics, the net represents the ways that light could take for accelerate…if these spaces remains stable, for exemple, inside of a gravitational field, light will have a constant speed. but if they change too much, light will slow down his speed. If the acceleration increases or decresase over the square of the stable velocity, matter will be generated. If the acceleration is enough, mass is transfered into the past…keeping universe nucleous mass estable…this happens continuously, and this is the reason for the ilusion of the universe expansion… NOTE: The pictures are the light focused on the pyramid. From the top of the pyramid (from lower to higher density). And from underground pyramid (from higher to lower density). The white plastic was used as a projection screen. In the first pictures, pyramid is above it and light enters from underground, forming the circular shape when top viewed. In the other photos, the prisma is up-side-down, with light entering from the top. The patterns on the projected light seems as a flower then…or even, a galaxy shape, depending on the angles of light focus…:-) You should see a cross on the photos, but …

Filling in for George Noory, Art Bell was joined for the entire program by one of his favorite guests, theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, for a discussion on a variety of science-related topics. Kaku provided an update on the problem-plagued Large Hadron Collider (LHC), while quashing a theory that suggested the giant particle accelerator was being sabotaged from the future. Kuku said the LHC is operating very smoothly now and should begin producing real data in six months. Scientists hope this colossal experiment will help them better understand the birth of our universe and prove the existence of dark mater, Kaku explained. He commented on the Royal Society’s recent conference on extraterrestrial life and its possible effect on humanity. According to Kaku, this topic is being debated in serious academic circles for a few reasons: the discovery of numerous extrasolar planets, the Kepler Telescope, and the Allen Telescope Array (ATA). So far we have found 400 exoplanets about the size of Jupiter, Kaku said. Kepler will help us find much smaller Earth-size planets, perhaps some with liquid oceans, where life could have developed. The ATA will allow us listen for distant signals from these potential alien civilizations, he added. If other life exists in the universe, Kaku thinks it would have evolved very differently from life on Earth. Aquatic species may be teaming beneath the ocean ice on moons which surround Jupiter-size planets, he speculated. And advanced …
