April 15 (Bloomberg) — Elon Musk, chief executive officer of Space Exploration Technologies, talks with Bloomberg’s Margaret Brennan about the cancellation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Constellation program and the benefits of contracting space travel to private companies. President Obama announced a plan in February to end NASA’s Constellation program, developed under former President George W. Bushs administration, which would have built rockets and spacecraft for a return to the moon by 2020. (Source: Bloomberg)

Here is the first run through of N’s DNA Science Fair project. He was trying to see if he could do it in 4 minutes, but ran long at 5 minutes. He was trying to go from memory, but just wrote his “script” @ 10 minutes before filming. He thinks it should be easy to do in 4 minutes because he was distracted by E, who we now know is…AN ALIEN!! Pretend you don’t notice he’s wearing his brother’s shirt. Again.

In this fun workshop, students will learn about Mars, and actually plan a Mars mission. Also, the students will build a spacecraft, robots, a Mars colony, and small water rockets. Student projects will be performed in both small teams and as individuals. Emphasis will be on fun, learning, team building, the use of some math, and some more fun.
